What counts as an official Rust server?

A server run by Facepunch or by a partner network approved for the in-game Official tab. The operator is the common factor, not the ruleset. Settings still vary between official servers, so check the tags and rates in the table before you join.

How many official Rust servers are there?

The count changes as servers go down and come back, so the table shows 251 online at the last refresh. It includes both Facepunch-run and partner-run servers from every region. Refreshes run every five minutes.

When do official Rust servers wipe?

Facepunch's force wipe resets every map on the first Thursday of the month at 19:00 UK time. Partner servers often wipe on their own weekday, most commonly Thursday, Monday or Friday. The Next wipe column estimates each server from its recent pattern; the figure can move if the server changes schedule.

Why do official servers show queues?

They sit in the game's own Official tab and have predictable wipe times, so players arrive at once. Large ones can queue even with several hundred slots. The queue figure in the table is a snapshot from the last refresh, not a live count of everyone waiting.
